    Pick up a copy from a kiosk in the park, at Second Sunday (or other FOGFLP events), or download and print it yourself from our Map page.

    Ridge Cemetery, a nearly 200-year-old graveyard has captured the attention of some park neighbors who have cleared away over-growth revealing some of the names of those buried there.

    Among Baltimore’s packed rowhouses and apartment buildings sits forested terrain marked by towering leafy trees, wildlife and rocky streams spilling foam.

    Deserved or not, Leakin Park has a reputation.

    Scores across the country know it as the site where Hae Min Lee was buried in a shallow grave, a case probed years later on the podcast “Serial.” Locals better know Leakin Park as the densely overgrown expanse in their backyards with a host of possibility but also insufficient staffing, illegal dumping and safety concerns.  Read the article here...

    State parks are more than just beautiful places; they provide recreational, economic and cultural benefits to their host communities. Baltimore City is one of just two jurisdictions in Maryland without the advantages of a state park.     Big news! A bill to create a state-city partnership park at GFLP has been officially introduced in the Maryland House of Delegates and will be considered by the General Assembly during its current session

    We are incredibly grateful to our legislative champion, Delegate Malcolm Ruff, who introduced the bill.

    And no less grateful to the bill's co-sponsors: Delegates Sandy Rosenberg, Dalya Attar, Regina T. Boyce, Mark Edelson, Marlon Amprey, Luke Clippinger, Frank Conaway, Stephanie Smith, Elizabeth Embry, Jackie Addison, Robbyn Lewis, Jeffrie Long Jr., and Caylin Young.
