Our annual Black Friday hike returns!

Put that credit card down and join us to work off that Thanksgiving meal!

This year we have two hikes.

1. A moderately vigorous 4- 5 mile hike

This one is led by Bridget, our former president, who knows the park like the back of her hand. This hike will take 2 to 3 hours and will include some climbs and time on paved and unpaved trails.

You'll pass through the Winans Estate, Carrie Murray Nature Center, Winans Meadow, and Gwynns Falls Trail, including the Millrace area.

2. A laid back 1.5 mile hike

This one is led by Mike,  our executive director, who is leading our work to make Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park a state-city partnership park.

 If you have trouble with hills, this is the one for you. We'll see some beautiful sights  and you can chat with Mike about FOGFLP's plans for 2025.

Bring water, wear sturdy shoes, and dress for the weather! Rain or shine, unless it's a bad storm. Snacks will be provided.
