    BGE's initial plans were to cut a path (50 to 75 foot wide) that traversed directly from the I-70 Park-n-Ride to the end point near Rognel Heights.  

    FOGFLP worked with City and BGE officials to have the path altered so that it took the least invasive route, taking advantage of already open spaces without trees. 

    The plans ultimately circumvented the heart of the park, as shown by the red path in this image.  The solid red lines are where the pipe is bored underground, while the dotted lines indicate trenching.

    Back in 2013, BGE revealed plans to build a new pipeline through the Gwynns Falls Leakin Park, as described in this Baltimore Sun article from September 2013.

Where is the park? 

On the western edge of Baltimore, right where Interstate 70 terminates.
